With the end of the voting process in Germany, Austria, France, Luxembourg and Denmark for the General Elections for the President and the 28th Term Member of Parliament, all of the ballot boxes set up in Europe were closed.

With the end of the voting process in Germany, Austria, France, Luxembourg and Denmark for the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary Elections to be held in Turkey on May 14, all of the ballot boxes set up in Europe were closed.
 
Within the scope of the elections, the voting process at the border gates continued until 17.00 on Sunday, May 14, and the voting process, which started on April 27 for foreign voters, ended yesterday.
 
In this context, in addition to the previously closed ballot boxes in Europe, voting has been completed in Germany, Austria, France, Luxembourg and Denmark.
 
GERMANY
 
The voting process, which started on April 27 in Germany, where the largest number of voters is located outside of Turkey, with 1.5 million, ended at 21.00 local time.
 
Citizens who came to the voting centers in the cities of Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Hannover, Münster, Essen, Düsseldorf, Mainz, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Munich and Nuremberg in Germany cast their votes at local hours of 09.00-21.00 for 13 days.
 
After the voting process, the bags containing the blank ballot papers as well as the envelopes in which the votes were cast were sealed. The ballot papers will be sent to Turkey by way of life today.
 
AUSTRIA
 
In Austria, where there are approximately 111,000 voters, voting has ended in the consulates general in Vienna, Salzburg and Bregenz.
 
Turkey's Ambassador to Vienna, Ozan Ceyhun, made statements regarding the election process after the end of voting procedures at the ballot boxes.
 
Ceyhun thanked the voters in Austria who showed great interest in the elections and stated that the voters gave a very good example of democracy in Austria.
 
Ceyhun stated that voters, ballot box officials and party representatives acted in full harmony during this 13-day period.
 
FRANCE
 
Voting in France, where a total of 397 thousand 86 Turkish voters are registered, was completed at 21.00 local time in the cities of Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux and Marseille. For the first time this year, Turkish voters in the cities of Ingre, Mulhouse and Clermont-Ferrand were able to vote for 3 days on 29 April-1 May. The ballot papers in France, which is the second country with the highest number of Turkish voters abroad, will be sent to Turkey by air tomorrow.
 
LUXEMBOURG
 
The voting process, which started on April 27 in Luxembourg, has ended. Registered voters were able to cast their votes at the ballot box set up in the Luxembourg embassy at 09:00 to 21:00 local time. According to Supreme Election Board data, there are 1,507 voters in Luxembourg. According to the information obtained from the embassy officials, the biggest increase in the voting rate compared to the 2018 elections in Europe was recorded in Luxembourg with an increase of 52.7 percent.
 
DENMARK
 
The voting process in Denmark, which started on April 27, has ended. Voters, who have been able to vote since April 27, in the building where the Turkish embassy provides consular service in Copenhagen, went to the polls on April 29-May 1 in the city of Aarhus, 300 kilometers from Copenhagen. Voting took place at 09.00-21.00 local time. According to Supreme Election Board data, there are 36,725 voters in total in Denmark.
