A short while before the start of the local elections marathon, efforts are increasing in alliances and political parties.
In the last presidential and parliamentary elections, the parties that formed the Nation Alliance started to work on preparations for local elections in the headquarters and provinces.
In the People's Alliance, the AK Party and MHP continue their field work, especially the polls.
FIELD AND SURVEY WORK CONTINUES
The first agenda in the AK Party backstage is the metropolitan municipalities of Istanbul and Ankara, which were lost in 2019.
Continuing field and name studies on Istanbul and Ankara, AK Party officials are working on separate files on the problems.
While the name of Health Minister Fahrettin Koca for Istanbul comes to the fore more, the names of former Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum and Osman Nuri Kabaktepe are also spoken.
While it is stated that the AK Party will enter the elections with local names in Ankara, Murat Kurum's name is also mentioned for Ankara.
The names of Mustafa Tuna and Turgut Altınok are also spoken in Ankara.
DISPUTE IN TWO CITIES
AK Party officials draw attention to the fact that the main debate can take place in Adana and Mersin, which were elected and lost in partnership with the MHP in 2019, apart from Istanbul and Ankara.
Noting that a process will be carried out with the MHP regarding metropolitan cities or provinces, AK Party members say that a formula should be found to close the difference of 10 percent in Adana and 5 percent in Mersin.
AK Party officials show the process of the alliance in Manisa, where the People's Alliance and the MHP won.
