According to different news reports, Zionist troops showered a car carrying two Palestinians with bullets, critically wounding them.
Medical sources said that the young men were both dead, adding that the troops prevented ambulance crews from evacuating them.
The Palestinian health ministry identified the young martyrs as Abdul-Rahman Atta and Hudhayfa Fares.
The Hebrew media claimed that these two young men opened fire from a car at an Israeli vehicle or motorcycle near the settlement of Avnei Hefetz, before Israeli soldiers chased them and shot them dead at the entrance of Shufa village.
The Israeli occupation army said that an M16 rifle was found in the slain young men’s vehicle.
Earlier at dawn, resistance fighters from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas intensively opened fire at infiltrating Israeli forces in Tulkarem refugee camp and detonated homemade explosive devices at their vehicles. One soldier was reported injured during the clashes.
