Zionist Israeli Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev entered the Sheikh Zayid Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where her country joined the Judo Grand Slam Tournament. Minister Regev released a video from his Facebook account regarding his official visit to the Sheikh Zayid Mosque in Abu Dhabi, which is the largest mosque in the UAE. The video shows that the UAE officials accompanying the Israeli minister during the visit gave information about the mosque in Regev.

Regev, who signed the guest book at the Sheikh Zayid Mosque, was interpreted as a signal of rapprochement between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, according to reports in the Israeli press. The Israeli national anthem (Hatikva) was stolen during the medal ceremony after Israeli Judo Muki won the final match. Thus, Israel's national anthem was stolen for the first time in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE, where it did not have diplomatic relations. The recent rapprochement between Israel and the Gulf countries is noteworthy. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made an official visit to Oman on Friday.
