University students flock to the mosques for morning prayer

The morning prayer program organized by 4 faculties of the Anatolian Youth Association Istanbul Universities Commission attracted great attention.

Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) 4 faculties organized a morning prayer program for university students continuing their education in Istanbul. The morning prayer program held at the Büyük Mecidiye Mosque in Ortaköy attracted great attention from university students.
 
Hasan Basri Yazıcı, Chairman of AGD Istanbul Branch Universities Commission, "We want to touch the hearts of every university student in Istanbul, where good and evil roam freely," he said.
 
The morning prayer meeting, organized by the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Istanbul Branch University Commission and 4 Faculties, was held with intense participation.
 
Nearly 1000 university students attended the morning prayer at the Grand Mecidiye Mosque in Ortaköy, Istanbul.
 
Young people studying at more than 20 different universities, from Marmara University to Boğaziçi University, from Ibn Haldun University to Medipol, flocked to the Grand Mecidiye Mosque to attend the morning prayer program with dozens of vehicles departing from various points of Istanbul.
 
After the morning prayer, which was performed on a rainy morning, dhikr and prayers were made.
 
After the prayer for our oppressed brothers in Palestine, the program ended with a photo with a Bosphorus view taken in the mosque garden.

Making a statement about the morning prayer program organized by 4 Faculties of the Anatolian Youth Association, AGD Istanbul Branch Universities Commission President Hasan Basri Yazıcı said, "As our Milli Görüş leader Erbakan Hodja said, 'The real power of a nation is not its cannon, rifle or tank, but its faithful youth.' We carry out our work by acting with this motto. Our aim is to reach hundreds of thousands of university students currently studying in Istanbul. We want to touch the hearts of every university student in Istanbul, where good and evil coexist freely. We want to touch the ground so that we can secure our future by contributing to the national and spiritual development of our brothers. We want to touch our brothers so that we can show them the beauties, beneficial aspects and good works of Istanbul. We want to touch upon it so that we can explain the cause of our Erbakan Hodja to our young brothers."
