Urumqi and Başbağlar massacres to be commemorated

The massacre committed by the Chinese Communist Government in Urumqi, East Turkestan on July 5, 2009, and massacre committed by the PKK terrorists in the village of Başbağlar in Turkey's Erzincan in 1993 will be commemorated.

The massacre of the Communist Chinese government in Urumqi, East Turkestan on July 5, 2009, where 97 Uighur Muslims were killed and nearly 2,000 Muslims were wounded according to official figures, will be commemorated with events in Turkey.
 
The platform of the Union of East Turkestan NGOs will issue a press release to commemorate the Urumqi martyrs on the 10th anniversary of the massacre.
 
"We will issue a press release in front of the Chinese consulate in Sarıyer Tarabya, Istanbul to exclaim to the world and the Anatolian people that China is carrying out a comprehensive destruction project by completely pending a population of 40 million people in East Turkestan," the statement said issued by NGOs.
 
Inviting all East Turkestan lovers, the statement said that the press release will begin at 11: 00 a.m.
 
Two different commemoration program will be held for the Basbağlar massacre in Erzincan and in Istanbul, in which 33 people were rounded up and shot to death by PKK terrorists in the Village Square on 5 July 1993.
