US commander serving in Incirlik base Turkey's Adana province, David S. Eagle's, menacing against Turkey by making a statement, "Buying S-400 may cause possible consequences of defense relations with NATO and US" he said.

Speaking to Nalan Koçak from Habertürk, the questions directed to Eagle and one of the answers given by the commander are as follows:

I am totally speaking hypothetically, for example, can you imagine the future S-400 air defense systems of the Russians in Incirlik Base as stationary?

This would be the decision of Turkey, we are totally respect your right to defend yourself. But the US Department of Defense voiced reservations about the S-400s. Turkey's receipt of the S-400, the potential consequences to the defense relationship with the US and NATO were also noted.

There are occasional rumors that the US will leave İncirlik. The Pentagon has denied it all the time, but I want to ask you once. What do you think?

The US does not have a plan to leave İncirlik. Our presence here izniylemüttefiki -Turkish government also our strategic partner and our ongoing work with Turkey for decades a symbol of our request.

Incirlik is seen as the center of the July 15 coup attempt. You were not here at that time, but I'd like to ask your opinion ...

I will not comment on this.
