The US State Department congratulated Turkey on the occasion of receiving Boeing aircraft with US-made aircraft engines which costs a total of 10 billion dollars.
In the statement made by the US State Department, "We congratulate Turkish Airlines for the purchase of GE engines for these planes on 25 April, explaining that they ordered 25 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with the option of raising 5 on March 12th." The statement said.
US COMPANIES IN TURKISH MARKET
The agreement, which is worth more than 10 billion dollars in total value, is emphasized in order to expand the commercial business association between the two countries.
"Boeing and GE, including American companies, including their investment and they're dedicated to Turkey Turkey market revealed new capacities and capabilities offered innovative solutions for socio-economic development in the region.
Especially in the aviation industry, American companies offer value-added production, import, high-tech jobs and innovation. TURKISH AIRLINES (THY) ORDERED
The deal between Boeing and THY, one of the world's largest aircraft makers, was announced on March 12th. In the statement made by Boeing, it was announced that THY decided to order the 787-9 Dreamliner type passenger aircraft.
