White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby evaluated the latest situation in Gaza and Israel's attacks.
Kirby dismissed journalists' questions about the Israeli massacres that increased in Gaza and turned into genocide by saying "This issue is the military plan of the Israeli administration" and stated that, as the US administration, they support Israel's approach to destroy HAMAS.
Kirby refrained from commenting directly on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's rejection of HAMAS' proposal to release prisoners in exchange for a ceasefire.
Kirby stated that he could not evaluate the conditions and reality of the proposal and noted that the release of the captives was very important to them.
"We support humanitarian pauses to remove prisoners, but we do not support a general ceasefire. Our policy on this issue has not changed," Kirby said, claiming that terrorist Israel is fighting against HAMAS and supposedly has the right to defend itself.
