The invading Israeli regime has terrorized Palestinian lands in the month of Ramadan this year, as it does every year. Reactions from Islamic countries against the Israeli regime, which killed and injured many Palestinians, did not go beyond condemnation. Despite all the barbarism of Israel, the relations between Islamic countries and the invaders do not deteriorate, and the privileges given to Israel draw attention.

“TURKS ARE FACED WITH THOUSANDS OF DIFFICULTIES”

Turkey keeps the doors open to the citizens of the occupying Israeli regime in the visa application. While Israelis can enter Turkey without being subject to the visa application, Turkish citizens can enter the lands under Israeli occupation with a thousand and one difficulties, subject to the visa requirement. On the other hand, the fact that the visa exemption applied to Israelis is not applied to Palestinians is another dimension of the issue.

VISA COMFORT FOR ISRAEL CITIZENS AND CHALLENGES FOR PALESTINIANS

In the "Visa regime to which foreigners are subject" list of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is stated that "Official and ordinary passport holders are exempt from visa for 90 days" for Israeli citizens who will come to our country. Accordingly, it is sufficient for an Israeli tourist coming to Turkey for a holiday to take his passport and come to the border gate. After the entry stamp on his passport, he passes through customs by waving his hand. And there are no difficulties, but on the contrary, many conveniences are shown on the grounds that it brings foreign currency. On top of that, despite the abolition of mutual visas with many countries, the residence period in the countries is limited to one month, while Israelis are given the right to stay in Turkey for a long period of time, such as 3 months. This privilege granted to Israel has not changed despite all the crises. The application is currently in progress.

NOT SUITABLE FOR TURKEY

While Turkey includes many countries in the world within the scope of visa exemption, it still subjects Palestine, which it recognized as an independent state in 2010, to visa. It is requested that the visa procedure for Palestinians be revised. Speaking to our newspaper on the subject, a Palestinian youth stated that the situation in question does not suit Turkey, and wants the Palestinians to be granted the same exemption applied to the Israeli regime.

While the citizens of the occupying Israeli regime can enter Turkey without having to apply for a visa, the fact that Turkish citizens can enter the lands under Israeli occupation with great difficulty, subject to the visa requirement, is among the issues that the Milli Gazete persistently follows. Our newspaper, which had the headline of "Courage Visa" before, expresses the demand of the people of Turkey.
