Voting process of the voters registered in the foreign electoral register at the foreign representative offices ended yesterday. According to this, 1 million 783 thousand 107 votes were cast only in foreign representations.
Voting will continue until 17.00 on Sunday, May 28, at customs.
According to the information received from the Supreme Election Board (YSK), the total number of voters who cast their votes at foreign representation offices and customs was 1 million 895 thousand 430 as of 10:00 am.
Voters registered in the overseas electoral roll cast their votes at the foreign representative offices between April 27 and May 9, and at the customs gates until May 14, 17.00 for the first round of the Presidential Election held on May 14.
For the first round of the election, a total of 1 million 839 thousand 470 voters registered in the foreign electoral roll, 1 million 691 thousand 287 of which were at foreign representative offices and 148 thousand 183 at customs gates, went to the polls.
In the second round of the election, the number of voters who cast their votes has increased by 55 thousand 960 and reached 1 million 895 thousand 430.
