A year has passed since the great disaster last year. While work is carried out in areas where wounds are being healed, those who lost their lives are commemorated. Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) called citizens to mosques on the day and hour of the earthquake.
A year has passed since the February 6 earthquake, the biggest natural disaster our country has experienced. While efforts are being made to resolve the troubles and problems in the region, the pain of tens of thousands of citizens who lost their lives has not yet subsided. Anatolian Youth Association is organizing a prayer program for the citizens who lost their lives by signing another meaningful program.
“WE MEET IN MOSQUES DURING EARTHQUAKE TIME”
In the programs organized by AGD, an appeal was made for those who died in the earthquake disaster. In the statement made by AGD, a call was made to 'meet in mosques' on the day and hour of the earthquake.
"We are meeting in mosques all over Turkey to commemorate our citizens who passed away after the earthquake that affected 11 provinces on February 6, 2023, and to support their relatives," the statement said.
IT WILL BE HELD ALL OVER TURKEY
AGD's provincial and district branch offices throughout the country have completed their preparations. On the day and hour of the earthquake, citizens will flock to mosques. Prayers will be recited for those who lost their lives and prayers will be lowered.
