The 14th congress of the World Muslim Youth Organization was held in Djibouti with the participation of youth organizations from 58 countries.
The main agenda item at the congress, attended by Muslim youth organizations from Brazil to Indonesia, Russia to South Africa, was the events in Gaza.
At the congress, it was underlined that the Gazan mujahideen were instrumental in the revival of the Ummah, and it was emphasized that material and moral support should be given to Gaza.
At the congress, where it was stated that Evangelical Americans were collaborating with Zionists, it was requested to intensify studies on Muslim youth.
While it was noted that awareness-raising processes regarding Palestine should be prioritized, all Muslims were asked to respond to the massacres in Gaza.
International Youth Forum (İYFO) Chairman Yılmaz Balçın, in his speech at the congress, "As Muslim youth, we must remain loyal to the cause of Palestine and Jerusalem. The project of Israel and Zionism is now bankrupt. On this occasion, we must start an awareness movement. We must convey the cause of Jerusalem and Palestine to our youth again. We must protect the children of Gaza, who are fighting a great struggle to protect the dignity of humanity. We must defend Gaza together. We must carry out efforts to reform humanity against those who corrupt it," he said.
