Speaking at the meeting where excitement and enthusiasm dominated AGD and National Youth Foundation (MGV) Chairman Salih Turhan, made important statements.
EVERYBODY SHOULD DO SELF ACCOUNTING
Turhan expressed how they think about how to reach people with their meetings. "We are not meeting to hold a meeting. Last week we witnessed two very sad events, one in Istanbul and the other in Antalya. Four brothers who stayed in the same house in Istanbul, one lady, three gentlemen, four brothers over the age of 45 committed suicide using cyanide. In Antalya, a family of four, mother, father and two children committed suicide with cyanide. Both events are both extremely shocking and distressing. In addressing these events, questioning power and economic policies as a reason does not imply that we properly respect neighborly relations and kinship ties. Regarding suicide cases, central government, local governments, non-governmental organizations and all Muslims should account for their own situation".
OUR VALUES DO NOT CHANGE
Underlining that the work of the Women's Commissions is very important, Turhan instructed their organizations to work more. Saying that the world is changing rapidly, Turhan, "However, the values we believe do not change. We are in favor of truth and justice in all circumstances.
