Anadolu Youth Association (AGD) has published a written statement about suicides in Istanbul and Antalya. "The suicides were both sad and shocking", the statement said.
INCREASE AFTER 2012
Official data of the statement referred to reflected suicide rate, was given the following information: "every year as a result of suicide, expressed in the number 2000 in the early 2000s in Turkey fatalities, the situation came to 3000 figures from 2012 onwards. TurkStat's data on the causes of suicides in 2018, 1155 out of 3161 incidents can not be determined that the cause. Family causes and livelihood are the main reasons for the disease.
A SUICIDE IN 40 SECONDS

The statement, which urges governments and other social organizations should do their best to resolve people's future concerns and to hold onto life, ended with this call; "We should not forget that the word of the our Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) “That man is not from me who sleeps contentedly while his neighbor sleeps hungry.” We should strive to strengthen neighborly relations and kinship ties, to increase salutation, to ask for help and to spread love and brotherhood. Our hope is to avoid similar incidents. Our efforts should be in this direction.
