Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman continues his provincial visits.

Karaduman, who made visits in Van, the pearl of the Eastern Anatolia Region, met with business people, industry representatives and media organization representatives, especially tradesmen.

Karaduman, who met with members of the press in Van, underlined that as Saadet Party, they are trying to find solutions to problems, "As we try to offer solutions, a new artificial agenda is created and attention is diverted. It tries to cover up corruption, poverty and prohibitions through various perception operations. However, no matter what is done, the problems have become too big and deep to be covered. Whatever happens, our main agenda will continue to be the common problems we experience and the ways to solve them," he said.

“900,000 TRADESMEN BORROWED TO BANKS FOR THE FIRST TIME”

Karaduman said that they always brought the problems of Van to the agenda of the Assembly and stated that they brought the opening of the Kapıköy Border Gate, which is one of the important commercial points for Van's economy, to the public's agenda with a parliamentary question. Emphasizing that the tradesmen had a hard time during the pandemic period, Karaduman continued as follows:

"In this process, the support was insufficient, and tradesmen were left with no other way out than to borrow money from the bank. Look, in the first days when restrictions were introduced across Turkey, 900 thousand tradesmen borrowed money from the bank for the first time in just one month. They said that they will close the shutters to the shopkeepers, but they did not show them how to make a living, how to pay the rent, bills and workers' salaries."

“HOPE TO FIND A JOB DAILED”

Karaduman drew attention to the crisis in the economy, "Almost one in three people are unemployed. Most of our unemployed citizens have given up hope of finding a job. Unemployed citizens follow job postings, exams and courses intensively in the private and public sectors in the hope of finding a job. However, the irregularities in the recent exams and interviews, and the political staffing experienced through these ways, deeply shake the trust of citizens in institutions and in the exams for recruitment, and thus in the state," he added.
