The pre-service teachers, who gathered under the leadership of the Platform for Disabled Teachers Waiting for Appointment, demanded an end to the grievances they experienced and the appointment of 2 thousand 511 disabled teachers in June.
“RIGHT TO WORK IS A HUMAN RIGHT”
In the statement, it was stated that 2 thousand 511 disabled teachers are unemployed and therefore in need of social assistance, "The right to work is a human right. We are here today to demand our right to work, which is guaranteed by the constitution of our state. Like everyone else, we want to participate fully, equally and effectively in society," it was stated.
BAYRAKCI: “WE NEED STEPS, NOT HEROISM”
Saadet Party Disabled Coordination President Israfil Bayrakcı noted that the state should fulfill its duties regarding all disabled people, and that the government should put aside its hostile words and take steps.
KARADUMAN: "EDUCATION MINISTRY MUST APPOINT TEACHERS WITH DISABLED WITH EKPSS SCORE"

Saadet Party Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman, saying that the grievances should be seen, "In the recruitment of teachers with the KPSS score of the Ministry of National Education, the disabled teacher should be recruited with the EKPSS score simultaneously," he said.
