Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi came to Ankara within the scope of regional visits covering 6 countries. Wang Yi met with Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu yesterday morning and was received by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. While the atrocities committed by the Chinese forces in East Turkistan blew their hearts, the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's Turkey visit was met with reaction from the Uyghur Turks.

In the statement of the Uyghurs, it was stated that "As East Turkistan NGOs, we will continue our legitimate struggle to stop the genocide in East Turkistan."

IMPORTANT CALL TO PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN

Making a press statement in Istanbul and Ankara, the Uyghurs asked President Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and other state authorities to take a decisive stance on East Turkistan in their bilateral meetings with the Chinese delegation.

In the statement, "As we have stated in our talks with state officials in the last few months, the launch of Istanbul-Urumqi and Istanbul-Kashgar flights, the opening of the Turkish consulate in East Turkestan, the freedom of travel to East Turkestan residents, the access of more than 300 thousand East Turkestan people living in Turkey to their relatives and East Turkestan Allowing an independent research mission to go to China should be requested from the Chinese government," it was stated.

"CHINA CANNOT HIDE THE GENOCIDE CRIME"

In the statement, it was stated that an international independent observer delegation should be sent to the region in order to reveal the events in East Turkistan with all its nakedness.

"We believe that the State of the Turkey Republic can lead the efforts of international organizations such as the Turkish-Islamic World, the Turkic Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to stop the genocide in East Turkistan. We would like to remind Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that. China can no longer hide the crime of genocide, which endangers the survival of the people of East Turkistan with its debt trap, trade diplomacy and blackmail practices, and at the same time threatens the international system based on universal law and principles," it was said.

Cancel the extradition agreement between China and Turkey

The press release emphasized the discomfort over the extradition agreement between China and Turkey.

"The Chinese government is trying to cause physical and psychological harm to the people of East Turkestan in Turkey by threatening them with their agents or taking their family members hostage, by complaining to the Turkish courts with false evidence. In addition to these, the extradition agreement between China and Turkey, which disturbs us, is a legal trap China has set up against East Turkestan people living in Turkey, as stated by the Chinese media. On behalf of the people of East Turkestan, we always seriously demand that the Turkish Grand National Assembly reject the agreement in question," it was added.
