President Erdogan's sincere expressions in his congratulatory phone to the newly elected President of Israel, Herzog, drew a reaction.

The rhetoric of cooperation with Zionist Israel, which Erdogan emphasized in his meeting with Herzog, rekindled the suffering of the oppressed Palestinians and deeply wounded the conscience of the ummah.

Using Israel in the same sentence with positive words such as "peace" and "stability", Erdoğan also praised the increase in trade between Israel and Turkey despite the pandemic.

WHAT CAN BE A JOINT INTEREST WITH ISRAEL?

Yitshak Herzog, the new president of Israel, who has earned the hatred of humanity with the suffering he inflicted on oppressed Muslims in the Palestinian geography that it has occupied for a century, was called and congratulated by President Erdoğan.

It did not go unnoticed that President Erdoğan used an extraordinarily soft and moderate language towards Zionist Herzog during the meeting.

Defending that Turkey-Israel relations are of great importance for the security and stability of the Middle East, Erdoğan said that there is a high potential for cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in energy, tourism and technology.

Stating that Israel-Turkey cooperation contributes to peace and stability in the Middle East, Erdoğan praised the increase in trade and expressed that it is in the common interest to benefit from this potential.

HERZOG SATISFIED WITH ERDOĞAN'S WORDS

Yitshak Herzog, the new President of Israel, stated the following about his meeting with Erdogan in his post on Twitter:

"A few hours ago, I met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He congratulated me on my new position as the head of state of Israel. We both emphasized that Israeli-Turkish relations are of great importance for security and stability in the Middle East. We agreed on the continuation of the dialogue to improve relations between our countries."
