Although it has been years since the martyrdom of the late Hızırefendi, who is one of the leading figures of the İsmailağa community and the son-in-law of Mahmud Ustaosmanoğlu Hodja, the murder has still not been clarified. Although the smokescreen over the murder of Hızır Ali Muradoğlu Hodja cannot be lifted 24 years later, the public wants the forces behind the murder to be revealed. Regarding the martyrdom of Hızır Hodja, on the official website of the İsmailağa community, “The martyrdom of Hızırefendi and of Bayram Ali Öztürk Hodja, which took place in the following years, was a fate they desired. The main issue that hurts us deeply is that these sad events have still not been clarified and the real forces behind them have not been revealed. May Allah Almighty accept their martyrdom! Amen!" the statement said.
WHO IS HIZIR ALI MURADOĞLU HODJA?
As one of the conscious elders of the Islamic cause, he reached the level of martyrdom. Hızır Ali Muradoğlu Hodja, who made his name written among the believers, was born in Rize in 1942. His father is Yakub (born at 1972), who is a fisherman, and his mother is Hamdiye (born at 1999). The sensitivities of Hızır Hodja are noticed among his friends at a young age. He stands out among his peers with his decency and modesty, and they begin to call him 'mullah'. Hizir Hodja’s contemplation horizon was extremely high even at an early age. When he touched the water that her mother had prepared to wash him, he said, “Mother, will it be this hot in hell?” His question was also a sign of his future intellectual depth. His sensitivity to organization and order led him to success in his school life. After successfully completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Rize, he was sent to Istanbul by his family to become a doctor who graduated from medical school. At that time, not with the central examination system of the faculties, It was the period when they enrolled students with their own exams, and since Hızır Hodja could not attend the examination of the medical faculty due to the breakdown of the bus he was on, he turned to the faculty of literature and enrolled in the Arabic-Persian department of this faculty.
HIZIR ALI HODJA’S MARTYRDOM DESIRE
The level of martyrdom is a level desired by believers who believe in the Qur'an. “(My dear!) Do not think that those who were killed in the way of Almighty Allah are dead! Rather, they are alive; They are provided with sustenance in the presence of their Lord.”[3] The verse of the Qur'an forms the basis of this desire. This desire is not an ordinary desire; “Indeed; Indeed, you certainly desired to die before you met him. Now, you have actually seen him and you are still looking at him (well, why did you return in this situation, if you were faithful in your desire for martyrdom, why did you not persevere with your prophet?)" It is a required level. Hızır Hodja was a person who sincerely demanded martyrdom with genuine feelings. We understand his sincerity at this point much better when his life resulted in martyrdom at the hands of an unfortunate person who approached him while he was in the İsmailağa Mosque and shot at him many times, ruining his temporary world life as well as his eternal hereafter.
