Karaduman, who submitted a parliamentary question to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, stated that the sale should be disclosed to the public and asked what the content and scope of the sale was.
Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman brought the sale of 5 city hospitals to Danish companies to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Karaduman, who submitted a parliamentary question to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with the request of Health Minister Fahrettin Koca to answer, asked why the said transfer was made.
“THE SITUATION NEEDS EXPLANATION”
He said that Rönesans Holding, which operates Adana, Yozgat, Elâzığ, Bursa and Istanbul Başakşehir Çam and Sakura city hospitals, has withdrawn from this area and transferred the hospitals built with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model to the Danish company, which needs explanation to the public.
“IS THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS GUARANTEED?”
Asking the Minister of Health Koca what the content and scope of the transfer process is, Karaduman asked the following questions:
Has the risk that the transfer process may adversely affect the hospital staff and service quality of the hospitals has been evaluated? Has a guarantee been received from the new operating company that the transfer will not have any negative effects for the hospitals and their employees? How much of the patient guarantees given to the previous operator could be met? How much was the total payment from the Treasury made to the company related to the hospitals where the number of guaranteed patients was not reached? Is the number of patients guaranteed for ISS Facilities, which took over the operation of the hospitals? Is this patient number guarantee different from the one given to the previous operating company?”
