Workers working in a food company operating in İzmir were put in front of the door because they used their constitutional right to be a union.

Workers who were dismissed without compensation have been in action for days to get their rights. 
 
Öz Gıda-İş members, whose jobs were terminated for being unionized, have been in action for days to get back to their jobs. More than 20 workers protesting in front of a food company in İzmir stated that they will continue their protests resolutely until they are reinstated to their jobs and their union rights are recognized. 
 
More than 20 workers, whose jobs were terminated without compensation by the employer for organizing in the Öz Gıda-İş Union, have been protesting in front of the factory for days in order to return to their jobs and exercise their union rights. 
 

EMPLOYER CONTINUES HIS ANTI-UNION ATTITUDE 

 
Making a statement about the ongoing actions of the workers, Öz Gıda-İş Union stated that they had reached the number of authorizations at the workplace in July of last year, but the employer was dismissed without compensation for the member workers. The union management stated that the employer's anti-union attitude is not limited to this, It was reported that the employer threatened to dismiss other workers as well.

Stating that they will continue their protests until the workers return to their jobs and gain their union rights, the union management ended its statement with the following call: “If the employer is going to test the strength of the union and the patience of the workers, you are welcome! The employer who thinks that ‘I have the money, I have the power’, we are calling you, you will wake up in the face of the organized power of the workers, you will learn what it is not to know the law, the code and the constitution. The workers who resist will win, the employer's ivory towers will be destroyed!”
