Making evaluations about the wages of thousands of health and social service workers working in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Family and Social Services, "Öz Sağlık-İş" Chairman Devlet Sert pointed out that the wages of the employees are melting against inflation.

"As Öz Sağlık-İş Union, we have made very intense contacts to resolve this issue, which has been at the top of our agenda for months. We met with our Vice President, Minister of Labor and Social Security, members of the Presidential Policy Board and bureaucrats. We submitted files, made suggestions, and explained one by one what could happen whenever solutions were delayed. As the authorized union, we knocked on the doors and kept watch. Now it's the government's turn," Sert said.

FEES SHOULD BE IMPROVED BY MADE AN ADDITIONAL PROTOCOL

Stating that the wages of social service workers, especially those working in the Ministry of Family and Social Services, are very low, Sert requested an additional protocol for all public workers in general and the entire business line in particular.

"The wages of our social service workers, especially those who work hard in the field, have eroded due to inflation. For this reason, the wages of our health and social service workers should be improved by making an Additional Protocol. There will be great satisfaction in the field with the conclusion of the Additional Protocol in both Ministries," Sert added.
