A remarkable action came from the Bureau Memur-Sen Union regarding the personal rights of the personnel working within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Union member staff tried to make their voices heard by wearing black. Bureau Memur-Sen Union announced that the contracted personnel working in the central and overseas organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will go to work on November 7 and 9 due to the loss of their financial and personal rights. The contracted personnel of the State Department are going to work in black this week in response to the loss of their financial and personal rights.
In a written statement made by Bureau Memur-Sen Union, it was announced that an action would be taken simultaneously in all representations against the loss of financial and personal rights of contracted personnel working in the central and foreign organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
NOVEMBER 7-9 FULL DAY WORK STOPPAGE ACTION WILL BE TAKEN
According to the three-stage action plan notified to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs General Directorate of Personnel on September 20; contracted staff started to wear black clothes to work from October 17 till October 21. The black dress action of the contracted personnel will continue until Friday, October 21. The contracted staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will arrive 2 hours late for work and leave 2 hours early on October 26, 28 and 31. On the 7th and 9th of November, there will be a full-time work stoppage.
