The two-day "Imam Hatip Schools Administrator Meetings Program" started at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Atatürk and Congress Center. The program started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, and continued with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Samsun Provincial Director of National Education Murat Ağar, who made the opening speech after watching the promotional film in the program, said that they are proud to host this great organization. General Director of Religious Education, Mehmet Nezir Gül, made important statements at the meeting attended by imam-hatip school administrators in Samsun, Amasya, Tokat and Sinop.
“THE IMAM HATIP COMMUNITY HAS A LOT OF WORK ON TRANSHUMANISM, GENDERLESSNESS, SOCIAL GENDER EQUALITY”
Mentioning the efforts of global powers to discredit and de-sex the youth, General Director of Religious Education Mehmet Nezir Gül said, “We live in modern times. As educators, there are many important issues and current issues that we need to put on our agenda as education and human-related educators. We see that our young people, who are intertwined with a big digital world, are actually in a big grip, and we are looking for solutions. With the policies and concepts that have emerged, transhumanism, genderlessness, social gender equality, Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) foods, halal-haram food and the issues that arise due to them, studies for the depersonalization of our youth, the global structure-hegemony; considering the policies and studies that it has done by putting countries, nations and young people in its grip, I would like to express that we, the imam-hatip community and educators, have an important task. The existence of our imam-hatip schools, which is a model that comes from the good experiences of learning the religion of Allah Almighty from the Seljuks to the Ottomans and is shown as an example to other Islamic countries as a model unique to Turkey, is very important for our country and our ummah. It is very important and valuable.”
“THE STRUGGLE BETWEEN TRUTH AND SUPERSTITIOUS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE DOOMSDAY!”
Emphasizing that the responsibility of imam hatip schools is great, Mehmet Nezir Gül said, “Today, we are working with our 1 million 260 thousand students within the framework of our 4,380 imam-hatip schools. We are trying to raise our young people for the future in the best way possible. We are constantly working with you in order to manage the process in the best way possible at a point where our young people are deeply, loyal to their values, even if they question our beliefs, try to raise them in harmony with our values, and turn them into exemplary personalities by knitting a righteous understanding of religion with righteous deeds. Our hope; is to entrust our young people with a better world for the future, a world where our Islamic values are taken into account and humanitarian principles are taken into account. When we calculate that the devil never takes a vacation, and we think that the struggle between truth and superstitious, good and evil will continue until the end day, we can see that our job is difficult with the newly emerged technological opportunities, but when we use these opportunities in the best way, we can say that our job can be easier. Like Islam, we have universal truths that we can defend with our hearts everywhere. The Qur’an is a great treasure and inheritance for us. At the same time, the Sunnah of our Prophet contains very important principles for us. It is our duty, as believers, who possess such marvelous, immense, universal principles and believe, to embrace, assimilate, live and make the necessary effort to live these precious treasures.”
