Anadolu Youth Association(AGD) Tuzla Branch made an activity on Sunday under the name of "Muslims do not celebrate Christmas" in Tuzla Viaport Marina which is one of the biggest shopping centers of Tuzla. While many citizens supported the activity, others were uncomfortable and insulted as "reactionaries".
A resistance of conscious Muslims face Christian Christmas celebrations which begin to become widespread in a Muslim country that Turkey. In order to draw attention to the growing danger, young people with Anadolu Youth Association(AGD) acted in Tuzla, with opening banners stating 'Muslims do not celebrate Christmas'.
THEY`VE BEEN GOT OUT BY FORCE
While a large number of citizens supported AGD's activity, some did not know themselves and were insulted. Police intervention was not delayed as there was tension between security officers and young people of AGD.
THE ACTIVITY CONTINUED OUTSIDE
The youngs who have been got out of the shopping center continued their actions there. Youngs `the Muslims' Christmas celebrations is very wrong`. It is stated that this protest will be held in the week before the conquest program of Mecca, which will be held in Tuzla Nikah Palace.
