Saying that even if some Islamic countries normalize with Israel, this is not the case for them, El-Ahluk emphasized that they are ready to sacrifice their lives for the freedom of Palestine. Noting that being the wife of a martyr is a source of pride, El-Ahluk said, “The lions of Palestine are roaring on the field. There are 30,000 fighters in Gaza alone. They defend the honor of the Ummah today. Resistance for Palestine is the responsibility of every Muslim. Each of us must have a role for Palestine.”

Within the scope of the Palestinian struggle, a valuable program was organized in Istanbul with the aim of establishing cooperation on a global axis. At the "First Union of Women's Organizations Forum", which brought together about 500 women activists, the work that could be done for Palestine was discussed. One of the participants of the program, in which various aspects of the Palestinian resistance were discussed, was the wife of the Palestinian martyr, Yusra al-Ahluk. Al-Ahluk, who made special statements to our newspaper, stating that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for the realization of the promise of Allah Almighty, she expressed that they are ready to do anything for Palestine.

“RESISTANCE IS NOT JUST WITH WEAPONS”

In her statements to the Milli Gazete, Yusra al-Ahluk, the wife of the Palestinian martyr, noted that the resistance would not be only with weapons, and said that conferences, media studies and association activities also meant resistance. Al-Ahluk, who is also a journalist, said: “I try to resist with my news and interviews.” Stating that the Palestinian cause is not only for the Palestinians, the wife of the Palestinian martyr said, “The Palestinian cause is for all Muslims. We are working on how we can further inflame the Palestinian resistance. We are discussing how the Palestinian cause can succeed.”

“TO BE THE WIFE OF A MARTYR IS AN OCCASION TO BE PRIDE”

Saying that there is at least one martyr in all families in Palestine, Yusra al-Ahluk said that being the wife of a Palestinian martyr is a source of pride. El-Ahluk, who stated that she was sad because of her husband’s farewell to the world, on the other hand, emphasized that she felt a great honor. Yusra al-Ahluk also noted that they are ready to do anything for Palestine.

“LIONS OF PALESTINE ARE ROARING ON THE FIELD”

El-Ahluk stated that she is a member of a family that has drunk the sherbet of martyrdom for 3 generations. Noting that their love for Palestine will not end until their lives are over, Al-Ahluk said, “A few hours before my husband was martyred, he had used the phrase ‘fight for honor’ for the Palestinian struggle. The lions of Palestine roar on the field. There are 30,000 fighters in Gaza alone. They defend the honor of the Ummah today. Resistance for Palestine is the responsibility of every Muslim. Each of us must have a role for Palestine.”

“WE ARE TAKING THE RISK OF MAKING THE SUPREME SACRIFICE”

Expressing that Israel is following a policy of Judaizing Jerusalem, Yusra al-Ahluk said that even if some Islamic countries normalize with Israel, this is not the case for them. Al-Ahluk, “Palestinian women are fighting a tough fight. They are exposed to illegal practices, they are subjected to physical and social violence. It is better to be subjected to all kinds of treatment for the sake of Palestine today than to live without Palestine. Make an effort to announce the evils of the invading forces to the world. We are willing to sacrifice our lives for the fulfillment of Almighty God's promise,” she added.
