The US, which has been terrorizing Afghanistan for years, fled the region after more than twenty years, while the Taliban took control of the country.
While the process that emerged with the coming of the Taliban to the administrative power was closely followed, the Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid, made special statements to the Milli Gazete.
Zabihullah Mujahid, who told our newspaper about the days under the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan,
"First of all, we ensured security in the country. The people of Afghanistan expect service from our state and we serve them. We have made significant progress for a year," Mujahid said.
“WE HAVE A REQUEST FROM TURKEY AT THE POINT OF COOPERATION”
Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that the functioning of the state in Afghanistan is generally settled.
Stating that there are deficiencies in some points, Zabihullah Mujahid said, "We have a request from Turkey at the point of cooperation. Afghan people, in particular, have a serious love for the Turkish people. We have historical and religious ties with you. We would like to cooperate with Turkey in various fields, especially in economy."
"WE WILL NOT RECOGNIZE ISRAEL"
Zabihullah Mujahid also made statements about not recognizing Israel as a state. Afghan spokesperson stated that their stance on this issue is clear.
"We do not recognize Israel and see it as an occupier," Mujahid added.
Zabihullah Mujahid also spoke about the manipulation of his words "We recognize Kurdistan", which he uttered at the 7th Scholars Meeting held in Diyarbakır, by some media outlets, and said that his words were misunderstood.
Zabihullah Mujahid stated that he used the expression in the sense of "the place where the Kurds live" and emphasized that his caste was not a state organization.
“WE APPLY THE SHARIA LAWS”
Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the Afghan people are Muslims and many lives have been given for the sake of sharia, and that sharia laws are applied in Afghanistan.
While the Taliban noted that the administration was implementing the sharia peacefully and beautifully, he said that there were some deliberate negative perceptions.
Zabihullah Mujahid underlined that in this context, no one was persecuted at the point of applying the Sharia.
Zabihullah Mujahid also reacted to the international accusation of extremism against the Taliban administration and the attempt to identify the movement with the terrorist organization DAESH.
Expressing that DAESH has a takfiri mentality, Zabihullah Mujahid said, "We are since DAESH, we are definitely separate from them."
“ALL THE PEOPLE OF TURKEY ARE OUR BROTHERS”
Making special statements to the Milli Gazete, Zabihullah Mujahid also stated that they want Islamic countries to be united among themselves.
Zabihullah Mujahid thanked everyone who shared the same problem with Afghanistan.
"All the people of Turkey are our brothers. Turkish people are friendly. What we want from them is to cooperate in many fields, especially in the economy, for the rise of Afghanistan," Mujahid stated.
