While AKP Local Government Chairman Mehmet Özhaseki criticizes the opposition parties to act together, he says that the only concern of the opposition is "to send Erdoğan".
First, let's take a look at what Özhaseki has to say on the subject:
"All of them unite in opposition to Erdogan. Because they are aware that as long as Erdogan is in politics, they will not be able to move forward. They cannot produce politics on issues such as economy, production, exports, investment, and structural reforms. The only fancy word they can come up with is 'Reinforced Parliamentary System' but they have no idea how. Plenty of promises if any! Workers, civil servants, farmers, private sector, everyone! There is only one thought in their minds, ideas and dreams: defeating Erdogan! After that, none of them care what happens to the country."
Yes, Mehmet Özhaseki is trying to corner the opposition with these words, but aren't all these accusations the things the opposition should naturally do?
What could be more natural than for an opponent to want to defeat and send out those in power.
We would understand if Özhaseki had said these words when the country's government was in a "perfect state", but when the country's government is "shaken from one side every day", it has no value.
He claims that the opposition wants to defeat Erdogan and doesn't care at all what happens to the country afterward. Isn't it interesting how he lashed out at the opposition as if they cared about what they did to the country? As if inflation hasn't gone away! As if they did not seek a new formula every day in order to keep the currency prices! As if they prevented price increases in the bazaar-market! As if they have succeeded in all this, they are trying to open up for discussion what the country will become if Erdogan leaves!
Is this the main issue to be discussed? Or is it what the country has become as a result of faulty economic policies?
It's easy to blame the opposition!
But shouldn't those who make such accusations run the country very well? Do those who accuse the opposition of making "pleasant promises" never look in the mirror?
Let's say they don't look in the mirror, don't they also look at the archives? One look and that will be enough. They will quickly see who or what is making “abundant” promises.
