The new name given to the six opposition party table by the partisan discourses: Coffee table!
The proponents say that the aim of the six opposition party table, or the fiskos table, is to remove Erdogan from power and dissolve the People's Alliance.
Up to this point, we have no objection to partisan discourses.
Just as the opposition spokespersons will target those in power, the government spokesmen will target the opposition.
At this point, style becomes very important. Things change when government spokespersons accuse opponents of being sneaky.
Especially when dirty bargains are mentioned, the business goes off the rails.
What is the opposition's expectation and account?
Of course, by revealing the deficits of the government to the eyes of the nation, it is to remove them from power and to take power in their place.
Why such an insidious expectation?
Why call it a dirty bargain? Suppose there is a change of government in our country.
And those who were in power went to the opposition, and those who were in the opposition came to power!
At that time, won't the current rulers, who went into opposition, expect to be in power again? Will they not cooperate with other opponents in order to regain power?
Okay, we understand that they are uncomfortable with some of the work done by the opposition. We also understand that they do not like that these efforts put their power in trouble.
But we have difficulty in understanding the language used against the opposition.
Are the partisan discourses waiting for the opposition to applaud everything the government does, without raising their voices of objection?
What then does it matter if they are oppositional?
Do they not become a fraction of power?
The opposition of the government cannot be more natural than the opposition's criticism of the government.
But they must be very careful in the tone they use when criticizing each other. They should stay away from definitions such as sneaky, dirty bargains as much as possible. They should never take the words like traitor into their mouths.
