When we overhear the statements of President and AKP Chairman Erdogan's close circle about the "economy", we cannot help but saying, "This must be Erdogan's mischance."
They must always be painting such pink pictures!
We can't say that we wouldn't be affected if our close friends made such suggestions to us.
The close environment paints such a picture that people are astonished when they hear what is being said! We wonder, "Are we living in the same world as them, or are we living on different planets?"
For example, one of them says that "the economy is in good shape" and says "we have no issues other than foreign exchange"!
I wish they would say that the currency issue is the source of all the problems in the economy instead of drawing such rosy pictures.
This statement is reminiscent of an anecdote. A man had a daughter of marriageable age. They came to ask for the girl's hand in marriage. The man has begun to enumerate the merits of his daughter!
He sang beautiful compliments to his daughter, saying, "He is such a skill, he is such a skill". Afterwards, he talked at length about the beauty of his daughter and their nobility.
After all this praise stage, he said, "Is it okay if you say that he has no faults, of course he has minor faults".
The co-in-laws who were curious about the man's candidness began to ask, "What's wrong with your daughter in addition to all her virtues?"

Now the immediate environment praises the economy so much! If they didn't bring up the currency issue afterwards, even we would almost believe the economy was in good shape!
The economy was in good shape and there was no problem other than foreign exchange! It is difficult to understand how this approach is.
Because at the root of all the problems in the economy, there is always this currency exchange!
You know, when they say "we don't have a problem other than foreign exchange", in fact, there is no problem that does not have foreign currency!
At the bottom of all problems is the currency issue.
Just as "liquor is the mother of all evils", the currency issue is the mother of all economic problems!
