Local and national words never fall from the tongues of the spokespersons of the government! But when it comes to action, they act as if they never uttered those words.

When the spokespersons of the government were asked, "Why don't you use the planes of the Turkish Aeronautical Association," about the forest fires that hurt our hearts, they immediately went on the defensive.

And they claimed that these planes were very old.

In the face of such a defense, the opposition did not remain silent and began to say that the helicopters rented by the government, which did not use the planes of the Turkish Aeronautical Association because they were old, were older.

While such a debate was going on between the government and the opposition, we witnessed the statement that the Turkish Aeronautical Association could not renew its fleet and technology.

We attach great importance to this statement and consider the inability of the Turkish Aeronautical Association to renew its fleet and technology as an important shortcoming.

But we would like to express that we do not find it right to push the Turkish Aeronautical Association aside because it could not renew its fleet and technology.

We would have expected that those who have never used the words local and national in their language would not remain silent in the face of the situation that the Turkish Aeronautical Association fell into, and would help renew the institution by protecting it.

It is not understandable for us to be a spectator to the troubles of the local and national, while being called domestic and national on the one hand.

If these words were said by a new power for a year or two, we would say "the men are right" and go to our corner.

However, we cannot or do not associate such excuses with those who have been sitting in the seats of power for nearly twenty years!

Because we think that just as it is the natural duty of the government to extinguish forest fires as soon as possible, it is also their duty to keep an eye on the renewing of their fleets and technologies by the companies that will put out the fires.

In order to extinguish forest fires, we do not find it sufficient nor do we find it sufficient to open a tender only among those who do fire extinguishing work.

We should have the right to expect a different approach, especially from cadres whose languages do not use local and national words.
