The government imports wheat. It imports sunflower oil. It imports live animals. On top of that, it imports meat.

Now we will import sugar!

Then the government comes with saying "Turkey is primarily an agricultural country"!

What kind of an agricultural country is this?

Ukraine has been at war with Russia for months! Despite this, it exports sunflower oil! Who does it export sunflower oil to?

It exports to Turkey, which is not at war, right?

As an agricultural country, we should be ashamed of all these imports, but where are the sensitive people who can feel shame?

As an agricultural country, everything is imported because we "produce it cheaper" instead of "producing everything".

The government is trying to explain the wheat import by hiding behind the excuse of "but we export pasta to the whole world".

No one is against “exporting pasta to the whole world”!

The objection is that the exported pasta is not obtained from wheat produced in Turkey!

Would it be bad if we produced that wheat and the winner was our villager, our farmer?

The world's money is paid for imported wheat.

Wouldn't it be better if this money goes into our farmer's pocket?

Similar problems are experienced in the importation of live animals and meat.

The money that is withheld from our own farmers and our own villagers is being poured onto the farmers of foreign countries!

So why are we like this?

We are like this because there is an understanding that says "we have money to import straw" to the country's administration!

We have money to import straw. We import wheat to export pasta. We import live animals and meat because it is cheaper.

In other words, we prefer to import rather than produce.

Then we worry about why inflation is so high.

If you do not produce anything and start importing everything, what will it do if inflation does not rise?

After it's too late, people start talking about "plant the mountains, plant everything like crazy".

What about those who have been sitting in the seats of power for twenty years, just realizing the importance of production in agriculture!

If they had realized the importance of production in agriculture in the days they came to power and developed policies accordingly, would there be such difficulties today?
