The invitation of the occupying Israeli President Herzog, who made the Palestinians experience hell, to Turkey by President Erdogan, aroused great repercussions in the Zionist press.
While President Erdoğan said that Herzog will arrive before February 10, Isaac Herzog has not yet responded to the invitation.
In these days, while Erdogan is waiting for a response from his Zionist Israeli counterpart, a remarkable analysis was published by the Israeli media.
Haaretz, one of the leading newspapers of Zionist Israel, talked to the Prime Minister of the occupation regime, Naftali Bennet and senior officials.
Bennet said: "I think it is possible for our President to meet with Erdogan. But I have concerns about Turkey's approach. I would prefer all cards to be clear in order to focus on stability in the Middle East and Iran."
Stating that President Erdogan gave positive signs in preventing Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine), "I don't see any illusions about Turkey. I saw what happened at the time of the crisis in Gaza. We know the dynamics very well," Bennett added.
Speaking to the newspaper, an official said, "Erdogan is giving important signs by blocking Hamas. This is important because hosting Hamas is one of the most important reasons that prevent the relations between the two countries to move to the next level."
'This interview is the litmus test'
Another high-ranking official, who did not want to be named, stated that Herzog's meeting was a litmus test to understand the seriousness of Erdogan's purpose, and said "The President is a symbolic figure, not a political figure, and in any case, Herzog will hold his own meeting with the Turks. They can communicate through this channel and look at developments that are progressing at a slow pace."
Economic deal signal
Another official speaking to the newspaper said, "Many symbolic things can happen. For example, ambassadors can be appointed or an economic agreement can be made. But we will not act until something clear comes from Turkey."
Previously, the Arab press, wrote that Hamas members residing in Turkey would be sent to Qatar or England.
On the other hand, Hamas leader Ismael Haniya once had made the call, "Don't normalize, fight!" after the news about Turkey-Israel normalization in January.
