Zionist Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a cabinet meeting on occupied Palestinian territory two days before the election to win the sympathy of the electorate.
APPROVAL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ILLEGAL JEWISH SETTLEMENT
The Israeli cabinet approved Netanyahu's plan to establish an illegal Jewish settlement in the Jordan Valley.
Netanyahu promised to "annex the Jordan Valley" in the West Bank "in a short period of time" to the Israeli government in a "short time" if his party came back to power in the early elections on September 17th after his party fell back.
