In these days when the snap election debates continue, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) started to work for the candidacy of parliament. In AKP backstage, it is stated that senior officials will resign to become a member of parliament in the near future. It is reported that in the AKP, where parliamentary work began, the message ‘we want local representatives’ from many provincial organizations was given to the head office administrators.

WE WANT LOCAL DEPUTY

AKP trained provincial election heads at the party headquarters last week on election preparations. It was learned that at the meeting held with the heads of election affairs, the issues of parliamentary candidacy, especially election security, were discussed. Regarding the deputyship, it is reported that the provincial organizations have informed the party headquarters that they do not want other names to be deputized for their cities.

HIGH-LEVEL RESIGNATIONS ARE EXPECTED

While it is curiously awaited whether the three-term rule, which was previously violated in the AKP, will be implemented in this election, it is stated that senior executives will resign to become a member of parliament. It is said that some strategic figures, especially those in high-level positions in the Presidency, will resign. It is also stated at the party headquarters that mayors who want to become deputies are requested to resign until the first weeks of February.
