In ‘Turkish Red Crescent Investment A.Ş.’, in which the ‘Öz Sağlık-İş’, ‘Öz İplik-İş’ and ‘Öz Taşıma-İş’ unions affiliated to ‘Hak-İş’ Confederation are organized, the collective signing ceremony of the three-year collective bargaining agreement was held between ‘Sağlık A.Ş.’, ‘Lojistik A.Ş.’ and ‘Çadır A.Ş.’. The collective signing ceremony of the three-year collective bargaining agreement was held between ‘Oz Saglik-Is’, ‘Oz Iplik-Is’ and ‘Oz Tasima-Is’ unions affiliated to ‘Hak-Is’ Confederation, ‘Saglik A.S.’ in ‘Turkish Red Crescent Investment A.Ş.’ ‘Lojistik A.Ş.’, ‘Çadır A.Ş.’. At the ceremony, it was noted that the result of a one-year study was received. ‘Hak-İş’ Confederation Vice President Dr. Osman Yıldız stated that the negotiations have been going on for about a year and they have gathered at the same table for signature today and said, “We are realizing our first collective agreement here. We have done a good job for about a year. Together with our ‘Hak-İş’ Confederation and its member unions, we have succeeded in a constructive and participatory collective bargaining agreement process based on very close social dialogue with the officials of ‘Turkish Red Crescent Investment A.Ş.’. As of today, we have completed our work in accordance with the principles of ‘Hak-İş’ Confederation and with the sensitivity that Turkish Red Crescent is a state treasury and an institution that encompasses the whole world.” Stating that they have accomplished a very important and beautiful job both on behalf of unionism and on behalf of the Turkish Red Crescent, Yıldız added, “I believe that we have put forward a contract that will make us jealous. There are problems, but the union process is just beginning. Hopefully, we will continue these processes by talking about our problems.”

‘Turkish Red Crescent Investment A.Ş.’ member of the Board of Directors on behalf of ‘Lojistik A.Ş.’ General Manager Şevki Uyar reminded that the Turkish Red Crescent has been trying to deliver goodness since 1868 and said, “We have always expressed this in all our negotiations. Our President, Osman Yıldız, has also stated a little while ago. Our thoughts about this nation and country are the same, we agree. This is our consensus, let's turn it into collaboration. Today, we are transforming our intellectual situation, our being at the same point, into a cooperation with the signatures we will sign.” ‘Turkish Red Crescent A.Ş.’ General Manager Erdal Dursun said, “I would like to thank all ‘Hak-İş’ Confederation employees and ‘Hak-İş’ Confederation family in the presence of our President Osman for the closeness they have shown during this process. We have had a process that has been going on for about 1 year and today we are at the signing stage. Of course, this is not a final result, we see it as a beginning. I see it as the beginning of many more togetherness and collaborations.”

‘Öz Sağlık-İş’ Union Chairman Devlet Sert wished the signing ceremony to be beneficial and said, “Of course, we do not see Turkish Red Crescent as an employer. We see it as a social partner. After all, this is an institution and organization that is remembered fondly and where aid is not spared. We need to protect this organization as well. Recent flood disaster in Turkey and disasters, we made a donation campaign to our Red Crescent. Of course, we have the responsibility and obligation to provide such assistance in the following processes.” Mustafa Toruntay, Chairman of ‘Öz Taşıma-İş’ Union, said, “Today we have concluded the long-running contract negotiations. We see the cooperation, collaboration and contributions of our Red Crescent in every trouble and problem both in our country and in other countries. Of course, what should be done in the collective bargaining agreement will be done in due time, we have no worries or doubts about it. Our mutual cooperation will continue. The important thing is to protect the rights and laws of our members that we represent here.”
