In the message published by Conscious Teachers Association (ÖĞ-DER) Denizli Branch, on the 22nd anniversary of Timurtaş Hodja's death, "We commemorate Timurtaş Uçar Hodja, who devoted his life to the Islamic cause, with mercy and gratitude on the anniversary of his death. Chairs have rarely seen hodjas like him. May Almighty Allah make his place heaven and be pleased with him,” it is said in the message.
Preacher Timurtaş Uçar Hodja, one of the architects of the spiritual climate in Turkey, passed away on January 20, 2000. ÖĞ-DER Denizli Branch, which published a message on the 22nd anniversary of the death of Timurtaş Hodja, one of the spiritual leaders in our country, underlined that the traces left by the scholars will not be forgotten even after centuries.
In the message, in which Timurtaş Uçar Hodja is commemorated with goodness and gratitude, the troubles faced by Muslims during the 28 February period were also reminded.

Our Timurtaş Hodja warned the servants of Allah against blasphemy, oppression and shirk by shouting the truth from the pulpits of mosques, in the lessons of foundations and in his sermons, at the expense of paying the price, during the February 28 period when Muslims were suppressed and intimidated socially and psychologically. In every period of his life, he did not hesitate for a moment to express the truth of the religion of Islam. He instilled a Muslim stance and consciousness in Muslims,” it’s added in the message.
