A new one has been added to the press statements made on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the February 28 Postmodern Coup, which was an important break in the political life of Turkey.
In the press statement made by Felicity (Saadet) Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa İriş, the issues related to the February 28 Period and the place of the National Vision (Milli Gorus) movement in politics were emphasized. In the press release, which also included important statements about the 'Morality and Spirituality First', 'With His Own Power; Strong, Fast and Widespread Development' missions of National Vision, the meaning of February 28 was once again revealed.
“A LOT OF WATER HAS FLOWED BENEATH THE BRIDGES”
Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa İriş emphasized that February 28 was a break in Turkish political life in the press release and said, "What was February 28? February 28 is the overthrow of a government that was elected by the votes of the citizens and received a vote of confidence in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), through anti-democratic and postmodern operations. What did Prime Minister Erbakan Hodja's 54th Government do to be exposed to these operations? Where did Fadime Şahin and Ali Kalkancı come from? What did the government balance settings mean? It is possible to ask many more questions, but a quarter of a century has passed. A lot of water has flowed beneath the bridges. A lot of things happened in the smoky atmosphere that emerged after the collapse of the 54th Government."
"IF NO ETHICS, THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT"
Mentioning the road map of National Vision, Mustafa İriş said, “We have always emphasized two issues on the ground: 'Morality and Spirituality First', 'With His Own Power; Strong, Fast and Widespread Development'. The closed parties of the National Vision, the National Order (Milli Nizam), the National Salvation (Milli Selamet), the Welfare (Refah), the Virtue (Fazilet), and now the Saadet Party, carried out all their discourses and programs on these two grounds. Morality comes first. If there is no morality, there is nothing to talk about. Desiring something for which you have no right, is a moral weakness. It is also immoral to deflect the facts with the methods of perception and mislead the public. What you don't live or do, let others wait to do, in summary; not appearing as you are, not being as you seem; It's a moral flaw," he said.
