Speaking at a New World Conference on the Axis of Rights and Justice, Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) and National Youth Foundation (MGV) President Salih Turhan said: “The global exploitation system is mobilizing to save a whale offspring, watching millions of people starve to death.”
A New World Conference on the Axis of Rights and Justice was held by Kırklareli University Anatolian Youth Club.
Speaking at the conference held at the Rectorate Cultural Center, Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) and National Youth Foundation (MGV) Chairman Salih Turhan, made important statements.
SAUDI ARABIA THE COUNTRY RECEIVING THE MOST WEAPONS IN THE LAST 5 YEARS
Turhan started his speech by sharing data about the countries of the world and said, "There is an event that is not repeated for those who are aware. There is an event that is very different from yesterday and will not be exactly the same tomorrow. The most active countries in the world are the USA, the European Union, the UK, Russia and China. The countries where the most energy is consumed per capita in the world are China, USA and India. Permanent members of the United Nations Security Council are the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China. The world's top arms-selling countries are the USA, France, Germany, Russia and China. Interestingly, in the last 5 years, the country that receives the most arms in the world is Saudi Arabia."
Turhan continued his speech as follows: "7 billion 800 million people live on this planet. Nearly 1 billion people in the world put their heads on the pillow every night. Every 6 seconds, 1 child dies of hunger. 2 billion people live below the poverty line. 1.5 billion people are deprived of healthy drinking water. Contemplate, think, put yourself in the shoes of these people. These events are a painful thing, one's hungry sleep, deprived of drinking water, living under the poverty line. On average every 4 to 5 seconds a person becomes a refugee and has to leave his or her home. In Turkey reached now 5-6 million migrants and refugees there," he said.
SALES OF THE PEOPLE MANAGING THIS SYSTEM
Turhan said that migrants and refugees started to hear sentences saying that it affects the country's economy badly. On the other hand, a picture can be sold for £ 160 million or $ 450 million. The wealth of the 20 richest people in the world is $ 1.2 trillion. The amount spent for cosmetics in a year is $ 500 billion, there is only $ 700 billion in football. Only about 1 percent of the world's production will prevent them, and 1 percent of the money spent on cosmetics can have healthy drinking water. But unfortunately there is a system that rules the world. The people who govern this system are the people who have dry salts, those who have no share from compassion, conscience and sharing what they have.
The world is not a reliable place both because of wars, conflicts and violence, and because of the injustice of the blessing and burden, the world is not a place where poverty is eliminated for much more than a billion people. The world is not fair. Some of the people are starved systematically, the other part is willing to do slavery at low wages.
The boundaries on the maps only limit the poor. When we do some reading, we see that the borders of many countries were not formed by the declaration of the will of the peoples of these countries, but by the discretion of those who operated the existing exploitation system in the world and the borders were drawn to keep the poor people under control in that country.
GLOBAL EXPLOSION KILLS MILLIONS OF PEOPLE
"For migratory birds, there is no limit to wildlife. Antelopes migrate from Tanzania to Kenya and from Kenya to Tanzania. Nobody asks passports for antelopes. But even though people have the opportunity to walk, even if they remain hungry, a person with legs cannot move from one country to another. The global exploitation system watches millions of people starve to death while mobilizing to save a whale offspring", Turhan added.
