Güldal stated that people were told by the government that with the "Competitive" and "currency guarantee" model, our production would increase, investment and employment would expand, exports would also increase, and thus we would get rid of the economic clamp we were in. However, as always, there is a long distance between what the government promised and the reality we face, and continued his words as follows:

“HUNGER LIMIT AND MINIMUM WAGE DIFFERENCE 674 TL”

“As a matter of fact, according to the January 2022 evaluations, the annual change in food prices is 80,24 percent in bread, flour, bulgur, pasta, 73,18 percent in milk, dairy products, eggs, 80,24 percent in oil, 96,6 percent in  fruit, 167,21 percent in vegetables, 94,11 percent in pulses, 52,54 percent in others and an average in total of 87,65. Despite these high price increases, it seems that our workers, civil servants and retirees, who do not have enough income increase, will have a hard time this year to meet the winter conditions. Because, according to the researches, the hunger limit of a family of four (4) people in our country has risen to 4,924 Turkish Liras (TL). The newly determined minimum wage, which was presented as a large increase, was 4,250 TL. In a short time, I regret to state that the difference between the hunger limit and the minimum wage amounted to 674 TL. In this case, our citizens have to wait in line at the People's Bakery queues in order to buy bread cheaper.”

“THE OIZs LOSE 1 BILLION DOLLARS”

"Our country, which is struggling to spend the winter under these conditions, has now faced energy cuts in the organized industrial zones, which are the production bases that are the lifeblood of the economy. In this case, the economic damage of the industrial establishments operating in Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ), naturally, will reach billions of dollars. If the calculations are correct, it is said that this economic loss will reach 1 billion dollars only in the iron and steel and automotive sectors,” Güldal added.
