In the program organized via Zoom, Kurdaş stated that how a person perceives events, creates that person's identity and said that how we look at events makes us who we are, and underlined that the events should be viewed from a Muslim perspective.

Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş addressed the Felicity (Saadet) Party's Women's Branch Organization at the 8th Session of the 3rd Stage of the National Vision (Milli Gorus) Academy and made a presentation titled "Media, Society and Events".

Mustafa Kurdaş, stating that our age is the age of noise and pleasure, said that the events happen very quickly. Noting that the masses were chasing the events but could not catch them, he stated that the events were understood to the point of hearing.

Emphasizing the importance of looking at the events, Kurdaş said, “The way we look at the events makes us who we are. Do we look at an event with the mind, with faith or with the soul?”

“THE TRUTH CANNOT ENDORSE NOISE, IT WANTS PEACE”

Examining the concepts of truth and falsehood and explaining the differences between the two concepts, Kurdaş noted that the truth wants simplicity and to be understood and said, “The truth wants to be understood. Truth imposes itself. The truth cannot tolerate noise, it wants tranquility. Falsehood needs noise. For example, Zionism first creates chaos, then falsehood order is established.”

Addressing the participants, “Is it the people of the events or the event of the people?” Kurdaş asked and added that one should not be human of the events.

"A PROFESSION IS SACRED IF IT IS MADE FOR ALLAH’S CONSENT"

Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of Milli Gazete, also used remarkable expressions about today's media system and said that in today's media system, good events are covered up and bad events are conveyed to the society.

Noting that journalism should carry the truth under normal conditions, Kurdaş said, “If you are doing this profession for the benefit of yourself, not for the benefit of the public, it has a responsibility in the eyes of Allah. Profession is sacred if it is done for the sake of Allah.”

“EASY TO REACH INFORMATION BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO COMB OUT IT AS TRUTH AND FALSEHOOD”

Stating that understanding is what makes people human, Mustafa Kurdaş said that how a person comprehends events creates that person's identity.

Expressing that events can be understood correctly if truth and falsehood are distinguished, “The agenda started to change very quickly in the process. Our agenda changed by the minute. The world is spinning fast. In the face of this speed, it becomes difficult to distinguish the truth. News, information and comments are bombarded. Today, it is easy to access information, but it is very difficult to distinguish between truth and falsehood,” he added.

“NATIONAL VISION IS A CONCEPT MOVEMENT”

Noting that the words must be known very well in order to comprehend the events, Mustafa Kurdaş underlined that the concepts must be known very well in order to think.

While Kurdaş states that National Vision is a conceptual movement and it wishes the society to think, Erbakan Hodja also defines many concepts and thus creates an identity. Noting that concepts and words are like flashlights, the Editor-in-Chief of Milli Gazete emphasized that perception managers can deceive even conscious people.

Kurdaş advised the participants to understand the events in depth and not to have a social media-oriented view. At the end of his speech, Mustafa Kurdaş noted that the events should be viewed in Islamic perspective and that one should not take a stance according to the situation or conditions, and said that the stance where the person stands, forms the identity of the person.
