“WE WILL TAKE NEW MEASURES ON FOOD PRICES”
Stating that they focused on the fluctuations in food prices, Erdoğan expressed that they intervened in these prices, “We took the first step of the work initiated within the scope of the simplification of Value Added Tax (KDV). We reduced the KDV rate to 1 percent on products such as basic food, pulses, vegetables and fruits. We will continue to take every precaution to ensure supply security and price stability in the coming days. Of course, we do not make any concessions on the financial discipline while doing these," he added.
