The issue of the second increase in the minimum wage is starting to become clearer. While the government staff was working on a new legal regulation on the subject, Milli Gazete reached the details of the legal regulation, which is expected to be completed soon. According to the information reached by our newspaper, in addition to the decision of the Determination Commission, which determines the main figure of the minimum wage for another year, a second increase will be made within the year. While the economic conditions of the country will be effective in the implementation of this second hike, the decision on the hike will be left to the initiative of the President.

THE UPPER LIMIT WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE SECOND HIKE

There are details about the upper limit of the second hike in the legal regulation being worked on. Accordingly, the upper limit of the second hike can be made at the rate of half of the first hike made by the Detection Commission. In other words, if the first increase was made by 50 percent, the second increase rate will not exceed 25 percent. The government staffs by setting an upper limit for the second hike, want to prevent the employers from worrying about 'arbitrariness'.

REGULATIONS FOR EMPLOYERS ARE ALSO PREPARED

The government's staff is preparing not only for the legal regulation, but also for convincing the employers. The government, which plans to increase the support given to the employer and to provide support in new items, is expected to meet with employer representatives in the near future.
