According to the written statement made by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, upon the invitation of Erbaş, the "Feasting Meeting of the Heads of Islamic Countries Hajj Organizations" was held in Mecca.

President Erbaş, who made the opening speech of the program, thanked the guests for their participation.

Erbaş stated that the pilgrimage is a great worship in all aspects.

"It teaches us the basic principles and values of Islam, reminds us of the wisdom of our existence, the purpose of our creation, and shows good morals", he said.

Pointing out that there are two indispensable principles of life for Muslims, Erbaş said: "The first is tawhid, which brings us together in faith in Allah, and the second is unity, which brings us together in the consciousness of brotherhood. Hajj is a form of worship in which we experience tawhid and unity together and in the strongest way. It is the declaration of the belief of tawhid and the consciousness of the ummah to the world. It is a universal fraternity meeting in line with the same belief, the same feeling and the same purpose. Here we are like members of a family with our brothers and sisters from all over the world."

Representatives from nearly 30 countries including Palestine, Pakistan, Macedonia, United Arab Emirates, Ivory Coast, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Syria, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Iran, Thailand and Kazakhstan attended the invitation.
