In his statement Barhoum, "The Great Return March is an effective, successful means to resist the Israeli occupation and struggle for Palestinian rights. Through the march, the higher committee, the Palestinian factions, and the Palestinian people have given an example of unity, partnership, and taking national decisions responsibly at a very difficult stage in the history of the Palestinian freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation," he said.
Adding, "Today, we need to maintain this unity, partnership, and consensual decision-making demonstrated by the Palestinians at the Great Return March to face off Israeli violations, schemes, and attacks," Barhoum said.
As the higher committee named the 83rd Friday of the March as “The March Continues”, they stress that they have the will and determination to continue in this path until meeting the humanitarian demands of the Palestinian people are met, above all lifting the 13-year siege on the Gaza Strip.
