Health workers of university hospitals receive an 80% raise with a collective agreement

Health Workers Union (Öz Sağlık-İş) continues to sign collective agreements for workers in university hospitals. With the collective bargaining agreement signed between the union and Sivas Cumhuriyet University, the wages of 860 healthcare workers working at the university increased by 80 percent.

With the collective bargaining agreement signed between Health Workers Union (Öz Sağlık-İş) and Sivas Cumhuriyet University, the wages of 860 healthcare workers working at the university increased by 80 percent.
 
With the collective agreement signed by the union, monthly gross wages of workers exceeded 30 thousand liras.
 

THE CONTRACT ALSO PROVIDES AN INCREASE IN DAY BILLS

 
According to the collective bargaining agreement signed between the union and Sivas Cumhuriyet University, the average monthly gross wages of 860 healthcare workers reached 39,000 liras, including the bonuses, annual social benefits and payments they will receive during the year.
 
With the signed contract, healthcare workers working on May 1st Labor Day will be paid 4 per diem along with their own daily wages, and healthcare workers working on special days when administrative leave is declared will be paid 2 per diem along with their own daily wages.
 
Workers also received night raises and job bonuses ranging from 5 to 11 percent. With the agreement, it was also decided to pay an additional work premium of 60 TL per day to the workers in the hospital staff.
