Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman spoke about the increase in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Karaduman said that citizens, farmers and tradesmen are devastated because of the price hikes in diesel, fertilizer, electricity, natural gas and water. “Almost all products in the market are on the rise every day, and the citizens are stunned when they see the price tags. Every day there is a raise in transportation, our people are brooding over how to get to their hometown during the holiday,” he said.
“WE MUST ESTABLISH A FAIR ORDER”
Expressing that the banks are making serious profits despite the hard times of the citizens, Karaduman added, “However, the banks that break profit records every year continue to win, no matter what happens in the country. While the citizens of the country were almost dying, banks made a profit of 39 billion Turkish Liras (TL) in only the first two months of this year. This robbery scheme steals from the table of the citizens and transfers it to the banks, namely moneylenders. However, it should not be forgotten that; it came like this won't go! We will definitely establish a fair system that prioritizes the nation, not the rent, and where the resources are shared fairly.”
