Ustaosmanoğlu stated that His Lordship is continuing the struggle of His Holiness Imam-i Rabbani, and said, "This jihad of his will continue until the Day of Judgment, if Almighty God wills it. May Allah Almighty not separate us from his path."
The exemplary life of His Holiness Mahmud Effendi, who passed away in the past days, following a line like straight path and shaped by the Qur'an and the sunnah, is shared with the valuable teachers who are among the brotherhood of His Holiness, via İDDEF (Federation of Associations that Value People).
Şevket Ustaosmanoğlu Hodja, who was among the followers of Mahmud Effendi, talked about Mahmud Effendi, who was recently passed away. In his speech, “We ordered our Master, our souls, our existence, everything, to Allah Almighty. We firmly believe that they are together in a circle with the Messenger of Allah Almighty (PBUH). We promised to follow in his footsteps. May Allah Almighty, makes us all successful on this path", he added. He also noted that Mahmud Effendi is the 36th link in the golden chain that started with our Prophet (PBUH).
“HE STRIVED THE GREAT ACTIVITY OF HIS HOLINESS IMAM-I RABBANI FURTHER”
“The Messenger of Allah Almighty (PBUH), If we leave our Lord Abu Bakr and His Excellency Salman-i Farisi aside, two of the other 33 sheikhs have a distinctive feature, which is different from the others,” Ustaosmanoğlu said, adding that these two people are His Holiness Imam-i Rabbani and His Holiness Mahmud Effendi. Ustaosmanoğlu, in this context, added, “His Holiness Imam Rabbani became the mujaddid of the second millennium. In other words, he waged a war to save Islam from innovations and superstitions. He tried to cleanse Islam of superstitions by sending letters to all sides. And the letters he sent were useful; His Holiness Imam-i Rabbani became the mujaddid of the second millennium. Afterwards, Mahmud Effendi, who set out not to leave traces of the Prophet (PBUH), struggled to further this great activity of Imam-i Rabbani, and he succeeded.”
“SENT HODJAS TO ALL CITIES OF ANATOLIA”
Stating that Mahmud Effendi trained many students and sent hodjas to all the cities of Anatolia, Şevket Ustaosmanoğlu said, “Our Master has trained students. He sent hodjas to all the cities of Anatolia. These people had great success by reading the letters of Imam-i Rabbani. We understand that; After Imam-i Rabbani brought the issue to a point, our Master Mahmud continued this struggle with greater means.” Ustaosmanoğlu concluded his speech with the following statements: “His Holiness Mahmud Effendi is a person recognized and honored by the entire Islamic world, and after his death, funeral prayers are performed in absentia all over the world. This is his jihad, if Allah Almighty permits, it will go on till eternity. May Allah Almighty not separate us from his path.”
