Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş discussed the cost of living and the latest price hikes in the program broadcast on TV5 last night.
Emphasizing that no diagnosis has been made regarding the economic model, Kurdaş said, "Since the system does not make a diagnosis, today we always talk about results instead of causes."
Kurdaş said in one part of his speech:
"Our ministers responsible for the treasury, who manage the economy, make a number of statements and say that the cost of living will be our number one issue. The cost of living, the impoverishment of the people, the decrease in our living standards, the weakening of purchasing power, exchange rate fluctuations, price hikes are all results. We talk about the results and not the causes. So what is the diagnosis? Let's admit that with this understanding, it is not possible for us to be in a direction that will solve any of our problems. Because there is no serious diagnosis made. We always express our reactions on names. But we have to talk about the system. Since the system does not make a diagnosis, today we always talk about results instead of causes."
